Who we are. Verdant Lawn Co, Unit 6, Stoke Fields Yard, Woodbridge Road, Guildford GU1 4RJ, is the data controller. Questions to hello@verdantlawn.co.uk.
This website collects nothing. No analytics, no advertising pixel, no embedded map, no third-party font, no social widget. Fonts, images and stylesheets come from our own domain. Nothing is stored in your browser and no cookie is set, which is why there is no cookie banner rather than one being hidden.
What you send us. Enquiry form or email: name, email, telephone, postcode, lawn size and message. If you become a customer we additionally hold your address, gate or key safe details, whether there is a dog, your soil test results and a record of every visit and treatment.
Why. To arrange and carry out your visits, and to comply with the record-keeping our pesticide certification requires. Legitimate interest, and a contract once one exists.
How long. Enquiries that do not become customers: twelve months. Customer records: three years after the last visit. Treatment application records: five years, which is a legal requirement for professional pesticide use. Accounts: seven years.
Who else sees it. Our email and scheduling software are hosted in the EU, and our accountant sees invoices. Nobody else. We do not sell data and we have never bought a list.
Your rights. Ask for a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, or object. We reply within a calendar month, free. Complaints to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

The form validates your input and then does nothing with it — nothing is transmitted, received or stored. The notice above describes how a live version would operate.
